Drinks Service

Fine food and good wine go hand in hand, and for this reason Food 4 You can offer a full drink and beverage service to complement your event. We have staff licensed for the sale of alcohol and are able to arrange licensing, with the local authority to sell at your event.

The arrangements will differ depending upon the event so let’s look at a few regular situations . . .

We supply your wine, bubbly and soft drinks

We will agree with you in advance which drinks you want, how much you want us to supply and how much we will charge you for this. You have complete control and so there is no cause to worry about run away drinks bills. Included in the cost to you will be chilling drinks where necessary, the staff to serve them and the cost of hiring any glasses. You decide everything and so there are no nasty surprises after the event when your bill arrives!

You supply the drinks, but we serve it to your guests

In this situation we will make a charge to you, but we don’t charge a “corkage” per bottle. We will agree in advance how much staff time we allocate to serving your drinks and charge you for this. We will also hire glasses if you wish and charge you for this. As with everything we do, costs are agreed in advance so you can budget. One word of caution with this route, please discuss with us the volume of drinks you buy. Many underestimate their guest’s capacity to drink, and there is little more embarrassing than running out very early!

Bar Facilities

We can supply traditional bar facilities for groups from 50 to 500. This can obviously include soft drinks, spirits, draught beers and real ales. Because of the work involved in setting up the full service we would need to be certain of spending levels, or we would ask you to underwrite it. This simply means in the event of low spending you pay a pre agreed service charge. This, like everything, will be agreed in advance. For smaller bar events we can supply just spirits, soft drinks and bottled beers.
